Every spring for 50 years, builders do something extraordinary by rolling out welcome mats throughout the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan area.  Home buyers and consumers flock to tour new homes to see the latest in new home design and innovations. The Spring Parade of Homes (previously the Spring Homes Tour) has given buyers a wealth of housing choices to find the home of their dreams since 1962.

American Dream Awards Winners Announced

The American Dream Awards are the premier honor for new home construction in the Greater Kansas City region. Builders’ entries were rigorously judged on architectural design, construction techniques, craftsmanship and selection of materials. Homes competed in categories based on price range. Teams comprising seventeen industry professionals from across the United States canvassed the Kansas City region April 13 and 14 to evaluate the entries. Twenty-two Grand Award winners were selected, and twenty-four First Runner-Up honors were awarded.
